About the Role:
As a Credit Risk Auditor, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the Audit Owner by:
Scoping audits and identifying risks and controls within the credit risk framework.
Completing thorough testing and preparing comprehensive audit workpapers.
Documenting processes and performing risk and control assessments.
Raising observations using our BIA audit toolkit to enhance operational efficiency.
Building strong relationships with colleagues and key stakeholders across the organisation.

What We're Looking For:
To thrive in this role, you should have:
Audit Expertise: Proven experience in leading or executing audits, including completing and reviewing work papers. Experience in controls-based reviews is a plus.
Credit Risk Knowledge: Strong understanding of credit risk processes, lifecycle, and associated risks and controls.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities, with a knack for discussing and negotiating issues with management.

Supporting the delivery of the Barclays Internal Audit (BIA) Audit Plan through risk assessments.
Evaluating internal control effectiveness and alignment with regulatory requirements.
Communicating key findings and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders.
Staying updated on regulatory news and industry trends to provide timely insights.
