Our client is a fast‑growing, internationally operating business seeking an experienced Finance Manager to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated finance professional to play a key role in strengthening financial controls, ensuring timely reporting, and leading a small transactional team.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily transactional finance activities ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Manage daily cashflow requirements.
- Maintain clean and timely accounts payable and receivable ledgers, including reconciliations and stakeholder communication.
- Oversee credit control and ensure proactive, professional communication.
- Support preparation of weekly working capital and compliance reporting.
- Own the preparation and submission of UK and overseas VAT reporting obligations.
- Provide cover and support across the finance team when required.
Key Skills & experience:
- Experience in leading or mentoring a small finance team.
- Strong UK VAT experience is essential (Overseas VAT knowledge is highly desirable)
- Excellent all-round accounting and technical skills
- Strong organisational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage competing priorities.
- Confident communicator with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams and regions.
