Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic HR Risk & Compliance Manager to lead global pay equity analytics and compliance programs. This role will focus on navigating complex regulatory landscapes, developing risk mitigation strategies, and driving global pay equity compliance initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end management of global pay equity and HR compliance projects, including statutory reporting and regulatory response.
- Partner with Legal, Compensation, and HR Operations to interpret and implement complex legislative and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct pay equity analysis and oversee statutory reporting obligations (e.g., gender pay gap, EU Pay Transparency).
- Develop project plans, maintain timelines, and monitor performance across compliance portfolios.
- Proactively identify risks and lead remediation plans related to pay equity and HR compliance.
- Translate legal requirements into practical system/process solutions.
- Analyse data to detect trends, validate data accuracy, and produce insightful reports.
- Communicate effectively across all levels, including preparing summaries and updates for senior leadership.
- Monitor global HR regulations and employment law changes related to pay equity and transparency.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives that promote efficiency, standardisation, and risk control.
- Support audit readiness and provide guidance in government reporting, legal queries, or investigations.
Required Experience & Skills:
- Significant experience in HR compliance, employment law, or compensation governance roles.
- Strong knowledge of global pay equity and transparency legislation.
- Proven track record of delivering complex, cross-functional compliance or risk projects.
- Advanced data analysis skills and comfort working with sensitive pay and workforce data.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including stakeholder influencing and reporting to senior leadership.
- Strong working knowledge of project management tools and practices.
- Familiarity with HR systems, data controls, and process improvement frameworks.
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, ambiguous, and highly regulated environment
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) in HR, Business, Law, or related discipline.
- Demonstrable experience in a role focusing on HR compliance, risk management, or pay equity.
- Experience working across multiple countries or regions with diverse legal frameworks.
- High level of discretion and sensitivity when working with confidential employee data.
