Are you a passionate and driven solicitor looking to make your mark in the world of commercial property? Our client, a prestigious law firm based in Brighton, is seeking a talented Commercial Property Solicitor with 1-3 years of post-qualification experience to join their dynamic Real Estate team. This permanent position offers a full-time schedule.

Role Overview:

As a Commercial Property Solicitor, you will play a vital role in assisting a partner with residential conveyancing, focusing primarily on the thriving retirement living sector. This fast-paced environment requires excellent communication and time management skills, as you will manage your own caseload under supervision.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Handle non-contentious residential property work, including purchases and disposals.
  • Contribute effectively to the Real Estate group and support colleagues on complex matters.
  • Attend training programmes to stay updated on legal practises and develop technical expertise.
  • Ensure high standards of client care and maintain strong relationships with clients.
  • Achieve key financial targets, including fees and billing, while maintaining accurate records.
  • Participate in marketing initiatives and business development activities.

Essential Skills and Experience:


  • 1-3 years of PQE in residential property.
  • Strong understanding of property legislation and case law.
  • Proven ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent client care skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
  • Proficient IT skills, including Microsoft Office and time-recording systems.
  • Attention to detail in drafting documentation and conveying complex information.
