About the Role
LHH is proud to be representing a leading national organisation in the leisure and hospitality sector, seeking a talented Property Solicitor to join its in-house Legal Services team. This role offers an excellent opportunity to work closely with senior leadership, providing expert legal support on a diverse range of property matters across the business.


The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in advising on property transactions, managing cases, drafting and negotiating legal documents, and providing commercially focused legal guidance. You will contribute directly to the effective and compliant operation of the legal function, supporting strategic initiatives and delivering exceptional service to internal stakeholders.


Key Responsibilities



  • Manage a varied caseload of commercial property-related matters with appropriate autonomy and supervision.


  • Provide clear, pragmatic advice on legal and commercial risks, ensuring business-focused solutions.


  • Draft, review, and negotiate legal documentation, conducting research and analysis as required.


  • Maintain a strong understanding of property law, case law, and market developments.


  • Support business initiatives, including participation in legal reviews, networking, and internal training.


  • Foster strong working relationships across the organisation and with external legal partners.


  • Mentor junior colleagues, supporting learning and professional development.


  • Contribute to departmental objectives, ensuring high-quality file management and compliance.


  • Meet agreed performance targets, ensuring accurate time recording and reporting.



About You



  • A qualified Solicitor (Scotland and/or England & Wales) with a minimum of 3 years' PQE.


  • Strong experience in property law, including transactional or development work.


  • Commercially astute, with an ability to balance legal precision and business practicality.


  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.


  • Strong organisational and prioritisation abilities, with meticulous attention to detail.


  • Capable of working independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.


  • Demonstrates integrity, discretion, and a proactive approach to professional development.


  • Experience in corporate, litigation, or intellectual property law would be advantageous.


  • Willingness to travel occasionally within the UK.
