We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated Solicitor to join our busy Residential Property team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated professional looking to advance their career in a supportive and dynamic environment.


About the Role:


As a Residential Property Solicitor, you will play a vital role in providing expert legal advice and assistance to clients throughout their conveyancing journey. With a minimum of three years of post-qualification experience, you will ideally have a strong background in lease extensions and complex property transactions. You will be joining a team of six fee earners and eight assistants, reporting directly to the Head of Residential Property.


Your responsibilities will include:


  • Managing the full conveyancing process from instruction to completion.
  • Handling your own caseload efficiently.
  • Assisting with registrations when the post-completions team is unavailable.
  • Engaging in business development activities, including networking and introducing new clients to the organisation.
  • Upholding compliance regulations in accordance with our policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining CQS standards.

Skills and Qualifications:


  • A minimum of 3 years' experience post-qualification in Residential Property.
  • Experience with lease extensions is advantageous.
  • Previous experience managing a small team of Legal Secretaries or Administrators is desirable, but not essential.
  • Highly efficient and self-motivated, with strong administrative skills and the ability to delegate effectively.
  • Client-focused and empathetic, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (especially Outlook and Word) and Case Management Systems; prior experience with LEAP is a plus.
  • Familiarity with digital dictation.
  • Ability to maintain a courteous and friendly demeanour, even under pressure.
  • Flexible and a team player.

Compensation and Benefits:


The base compensation will be contingent upon proven experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a performance-related bonus and a range of other benefits.
