Are you a newly qualified or assistant solicitor looking to make your mark in a dynamic family law environment? Our client, a prominent full-service law firm, is seeking an enthusiastic Family Solicitor to join their highly regarded team in Hampshire.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a top-tier Family team with a strong reputation throughout Hampshire and beyond. The team serves clients across Hampshire, Dorset, the Home Counties, and London, as well as international clients, providing first-class legal services in family law matters.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Delivering thorough legal advice and support to clients during challenging family breakdowns, ensuring their needs are met with empathy and professionalism.
- Managing a varied caseload that includes divorce finances, children's matters, cohabitation disputes, and pre- and post-nuptial agreements.
- Engaging in targeted business development activities to attract new clients, while collaborating with other fee earners in a supportive environment.
- utilising your creativity and initiative to devise pragmatic solutions for clients, and maintaining organised file management while knowing when to seek support.
About You:
To thrive in this role, you should possess:
- A newly qualified solicitor (NQ) status with relevant experience in Family law or an assistant solicitor with up to 4 years PQE.
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Excellent communication skills and a client-centred approach, capable of simplifying complex legal concepts into actionable advice.
- A proactive attitude towards personal development, with a willingness to engage in marketing and business development activities.
- A collaborative mindset, valuing team success while pursuing your individual goals.
